Terry was the Kemp associate helping us during the day of the memorial. Some of what we requested was not in place and that's when Terry sprang into action and was extremely gracious. courteous and professional. Please share again with Terry how grateful we are for his compassion and dedication to helping us execute a beautiful memorial for our loved one.

The Kemp Funeral Home and Cremation Service family and staff took very good care in handling the final arrangements for our beloved mother. Our family was treated very respectfully, and with kindness and patient understanding. We were provided with undivided attention and not hurried or rushed in our decisions. We were allowed ample time to choose what we wanted and needed to make our mother’s final wishes come true. Mr. Kemp laid out ample options and suggestions working towards helping our family make such difficult decisions, yet be happy about affordable choices that we were content with on the take-a-way. Ms. Kay created a wonderful lay-out on our mother with the theme pieces we provided. Ms. Holloway and Ms. Jordan were patient in working with us to finalize the intimate details for our mothers viewing and service and for the Re-pass arrangements and costs. All of the staff were instrumental in planning the dates that were convienient for the family and friends for mother’s final home going service and cremation event. I would, and I have, highly recommended KFH to others as a place to do business with when the time arises for finalizing the memorial needs of ones’ beloved ones! KFH is a new and very modernly designed facility for memorializing loved ones. The atmosphere is welcoming and one of warmth and coziness-an unusual and long overdue welcome for facilities that offer arrangements for the preparation of those who are in need of after-life care and disposition. Very professional service from the beginning to the end!! The preparers did an excellent job on her body, especially her hair. They followed my request down to the T. The funeral director LaShonda was excellent--very sensitive and we did not feel pressured.
