Kevin L. Hanserd

Kevin Leon Hanserd born on Dec 3,1963 to Samuel Hanserd proceeded in death and his mother Gloria Crain in Detroit Michigan. He was the first out of three children, and He went to Crary elementary, Murphy middle school and Redford high school and received his diploma. Kevin also known to family and friends as KP, chief or Pops. Kevin worked as a machinist for 14 years in Detroit, Michigan. He also worked as a driver for 10 years in Detroit and Arizona. He worked as a caustic tech for three years in Alabama. Between Arizona and Alabama Kevin lived in Arizona and Alabama for 9 years before returning to his hometown Detroit. Kevin’s last job was 10 years of service to Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he was a Pepstone manufacturing equipment operator known for his hard work and commitment. Kevin was a funny, caring, and loving man who brought joy to everyone around him. Kevin was always the one to keep in touch with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and could always make people laugh. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially going to Walmart, washing and caring for his car, and spending time with the people he loved most and love to dress he had to coordinate his outfit. Above all, Kevin was a devoted father to his daughter, Nia, whom he loved deeply. also, very close to his mother. The bond they all shared with Kevin was special, and the memories they created together will be cherished forever. Kevin leaves behind his beloved daughter, Nia; his mother, Gloria Crain; his father, Ben Crain; his brother, Delano Hanserd (Dana); Anthony Hanserd proceeded in death, his sisters Carole, Helene, Patricia and Rosa, God-sister and God-brothers Carnita (Marcus) Charner, Carles and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him dearly. Though Kevin is no longer with us, his laughter, kindness, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will continue to live on through the family and friends whose lives he touched. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Forever loved, forever missed, forever remembered. ❤️
