Betty Ann Fagan

Celebration of Life for Betty Ann Fagan Betty Ann Fagan was born on November 1, 1955, in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Joseph Anderson and Winifred Zoila Anderson after her family relocated from Bermuda to Pennsylvania in 1952. She was the fourth of five children. During her childhood years, she enjoyed playing musical instruments and synchronized swimming with her lifelong best friend Kim Hovington Pouncy. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1973 and attended a local technical college with hopes of working as an electronics technician. She began working at Exxon Office Systems as a quality control technician in Lionville, Pennsylvania where she met her future husband, Michael Fagan. They wed in 1987 and had their first child, Justin, in 1988. Four years later, they welcomed their second child, Amber and made the decision to create a new life in Michigan in 1994. Betty prioritized up keeping the household and interacting with neighborhood friends. She enjoyed creative projects and attending her children’s sporting events. She frequently traveled to visit her family and friends in Pennsylvania and Bermuda with her sister, Donna Patrick amongst many other destinations. She also had the honor of traveling to Japan to witness her nephew, Trevor Patrick’s, wedding. She has been able to capture long lasting memories from all the places she visited. She worked at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center in the dietary department for 20 years and later had a brief stint working in janitorial services before officially retiring from work in 2017. In the same year, she welcomed two grandchildren, Violet and Rhyus, and really loved entertaining them. In her retirement, she enjoyed going to live concerts with her husband, traveling, gardening, attending her grandchildren’s events, and spending time with her children’s families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Winifred and her brothers, George, Richard, and Walter Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Michael Fagan; son, Justin Fagan (Jasmine); daughter, Amber Holman (Rogis); sister, Donna Patrick; nephew, Trevor Patrick; niece, Miranda Patrick; three grandchildren, Violet, Rhyus, and Aria; brother-in-law, Juan Fagan Sr (Odell); and a host of relatives and friends. Although she has left in the flesh far too soon, she will forever be remembered for her kindness, caring for others, and the love she had for her family and friends. “What we once enjoyed and deeply loved; we can never lose.”
