He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Eddie Lee Dorsey his Mother now deceased. Willie was the only child. His Father unknown. WILLIE Dorsey grew up in a loving home with several cousins and raised by his auntie Lillie Thomas, Florine Roach, Dorothy Palmer. Willie attended school in Atlanta, Georgia Croman elementary, Booker T Washington High School he decided to pursue his dream and join the Military – served in US Marine Corp. After discharge from the military, he joined Chrysler Cooperation in Detroit, Michigan. Willie was a part of the Chrysler Group LLC family. He was excited to be engaged in the process. He loved to learn, and he was very articulate. He shared his knowledge with his Family back home in Atlanta. Called his Auntie’s and ask them to pray, they did just that. Willie became a member of New MT Vernon Missionary Baptist Church Ferndale, MI He Loved the Lord, he shared every verse from Bible with Family and Friends. He wanted everyone to know the Lord as well. On Sept 18, 2018 he stated (In his words) IF YOU FIND OUT YOU GOT STAGE FOUR CANCER WHAT ARE U GOING TO DO………. WHO U GOING TO CALL FOR HELP…….? Willie (Wrote) I believe in God not because my Parents told me to, or because the church told me too, but because I’ve experience his goodness and mercy myself. Willie joined the Brotherhood For Life- Union Local 869 they broke bread together and shared many stories life, work place team work. They are real brothers. Willie just can’t stop talking about their love for one another every day. He talked so much about his “BUDDIES” – how much they all love eating good food. Can’t Stop eating that good Olé food He said. Willie Walter Dorsey leaves his cousins William H Palmer Jr. Zenettra Palmer Jackson, Kenya Dumas Palmer, Moric Palmer, Dameon Palmer, William Palmer III and Keke Daniels other family members and friends.
