Deborah Farmer

Deborah Farmer was born into a loving family on January 4, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan to Charlie Odell Farmer and Willie Mae Farmer. Deborah was the 6th child of an eleven sibling bunch. Deborah fought a tremendous fight and transitioned to her heavenly reward on November 13, 2023 surrounded by love. Deborah was brought up in the church and attended Morning View Missionary Baptist Church for many years where she accepted Christ. She was also very studious, and she graduated from Northwestern High School. She worked for many years at the IRS Data Center in downtown Detroit. Additionally, she devoted many years working in the community with Focus Hope. Deborah was a committed and dedicated employee as she continued working in Quality Control at the Detroit Area Agency on Aging. Deborah, affectionately called Bebo by her siblings, was a very sweet, funny, intelligent, giving, and loving person. Her beauty radiated inside and out. Many would describe her as mild mannered and kind. She was an avid reader and enjoyed anything that challenged her brain such as crossword puzzles. She also had a green thumb and her household plants often draped around the rooms due to her nurturing spirit. Deborah also enjoyed TV crime dramas such as CSI (all of them), and she knew all their theme songs. She was a Trekkie. She enjoyed all genres of Star Trek. She made the best Mac & Cheese and it was always requested by family members. She was sort of a fashionista and regularly matched her earrings, clothing and make-up. But you can bet that something on her or near would showcase her favorite color PURPLE. You could often find her dancing and singing, we all know she loved her some Luther Vandross! As a fun fact she was in a band during her younger years and she would light up whenever she talked about it. Deborah was a beautiful Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandma and unselfishly devoted her life to her family and has imparted many loving memories to cherish. Her siblings that preceded her to glory are: Otis Campbell, Denise Love, Melba Farmer, Shiann Fox, and Rev. Zaavan A. Farmer. Left to celebrate her life and delight in her are: Claudia Walker, Mazie Smith, Charlie Farmer (Angela), Cora Farmer, Kimala Haakim (Ali). Two aunts: Queenella Clark and Ruby Rayford. Her adoring children: Shamone Cleaves, Anthony Farmer and Raychel Farmer. Grandchildren: Steven Jr., Anthony Jr. Simone, Ajayah (Kipper), DeShawn, Dajuan, Ivion, Tantaniea and Adelise, and a great many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. ********************************************************************************************************************** Zoom Instructions For Livestream 1.
